National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization

The goal of NHPCO is to educate about and advocate for the fundamental philosophy and principles of hospice care to meet the unique needs of each terminally ill person.

California Hospice and Palliative Care Association

The California Hospice and Palliative Care Association advocates for those facing life-threatening illnesses. They provide technical resources, monitor legislative and regulatory activities, and work closely with other organizations that share an interest in end-of-life care. They serve both California and Nevada.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is a federal agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. CMS runs the Medicare and Medicaid programs - two national health care programs that benefit millions of Americans.

American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging

The members of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging serve two million people every day through mission-driven, not-for-profit organizations dedicated to providing the services people need, when they need them, in the place they call home. The association represents 5,600 mission-driven, not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and senior housing facilities, and community service organizations.

Hospice Foundation of America

A not-for-profit organization assisting those who cope either personally or professionally with terminal illness, death, and the process of grief.

Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association

The purpose of the HNPA is to exchange information, experiences, and ideas; to promote understanding of the specialties of hospice and palliative nursing, and to study and promote hospice and palliative nursing research.
